If you look up other sites in your demographic (So. Cal. Equest. Directory)you will see a decent format, although they are VERY lacking in the amount and frequency of people who actually post (probably due to the lack of old-fashioned bulletin board advertising at numerous local horse stables). Though the footwork will be time-consuming, the visibility and #@*%! expense will probably make it pay off the most for you. Maybe you could even visit some great horsetowns (i.e. Norco, Whittier, Palos Verdes, which may be a teensy bit out of the area but still viable cohorts) and visit professional renting/leasing stables to propose an offer to permanently post ads mentioning their stable on your site for some ad space at their barn. Who knows, the possibilities are endless!! I can't wait!!!

Love what you've started, looking forward to seeing it grow.
One suggestion I have so far...I was in the classifieds and the link for home didn't work. just kept me at the main menue of the classifieds.

Hey, Micheal
Great format... much better than what is currently around.
I hope you include the following:
Housing (both horsey and human)
Upcoming shows
Business listings (I use an on-line version exclusively up here)
That's a start for me - oh, yeah. Keep it going!
Jenny

Hi,
I was wondering if you would be interested in having people post who have a horse but don't have the time to ride them. Then people like me could contact them and ride them for the owner.
I LOVE horses and while I don't own one I would love to help someone out with theirs.
No matter what, I wanted to tell you that you have a great idea here.
Found you on Craig's List in case you were wondering.
Joanne
